Senior Degree Project

It’s spring break.
It’s spring break.
That really doesn’t mean anything to me except, “tons o’time to get work done!”
For my senior degree project I’m in the midst of collecting as many responses as I can, so if you have time, could you be so kind and visit my online form and answer my little question? thanks!
I’m creating a portrait book with handwritten stories, and am asking you sirs and ladies to become the voices that fill all the pages in between the lovely portraits.

More from the Summer/Fall archive. Just printed this one out this week. Bridget and I went out for a photo day and I played in Frog Pond with the other children.

Some days it feels like spring…and some days you’re reminded that it’s the dead of winter. Unless you’re in Florida where all the old people are. Then it’s not. Here’s a reminder of what was the lovely Autumn. Bruce and I drove out towards the west to chase the dying aspens and happened upon this particular reservoir. Click for a bigger image.
More posts to come soon. I promise. I’ll be more diligent.

So…a month ago, I meant to write about new and exciting things, and then my life continued to drag on. Moving into an apartment with five of my friends was quite an experience. I lifted boxes bigger than my body for about five hours and came home to the new apartment with mattresses stacked in the living room, an entire room filled with furniture, and boxes upon boxes in every other room. Except my room. My room was empty, so I had a lovely night sleeping on an air mattress in the quiet.
For the most part, we are now all settled in, save for the destruction that is going on in our downstairs bathroom (which means I get to wake up to the sounds of the plumber tromping down the stairs and using power tools right next to my room). At the moment, next to our futon in our downstairs living room sits our downstairs bathroom toilet and sink. It has really upped the level of college sophistication and provided additional seating when we want to watch the old television. Continue reading »

I added some of my older film photography. Some of it was taken while I was in high school and the others were taken my freshman year of college, including my many adventures with my brother Bruce. I’ll be adding my film photography portfolio from my sophomore year in the coming months. (There’s quite a lot that I wasn’t able to physically print, so I’ll try to scan the other negatives as well).
I’ve also added a couple more things to the design section, including submissions for the World Aids Day Poster Exhibition from last year (I was finally able to find the files…), excerpts from my children’s alphabet book, and even some really old things that I designed for some older music competitions.
Is anyone else in denial about school starting? Sigh.
Here’s to…moving to new apartments and approaching “adulthood”.
